New Partner at MSC in Fort Lauderdale

McIntosh Sawran & Cartaya, P.A. is pleased to announce the promotion of Senior Associate Dale S. Dobuler to non-equity Partner.

Mr. Dobuler works predominantly in the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith division of the firm.  Mr. Dobuler, a former non-profit executive director and upper-level administrator in state government prior to becoming an attorney, has handled a wide array of legal matters including first-party commercial and residential property disputes,  products liability matters, professional negligence cases, healthcare litigation, complex class action and MDL work, subrogation claims, and a variety of general liability matters implicating complex insurance coverage disputes and issues.
                                                                                                                                                                                          
Mr. Dobuler received his undergraduate degree from Lynn University (summa cum laude) in Boca Raton, Florida, and his Juris Doctor (magna cum laude and Order of the Coif) from the University of Miami School of Law .

In 2013, Mr. Dobuler served on a state-wide panel tasked with developing a Homeowners' Policy & Claims Bill of Rights and associated legislation designed to improve the experiences of Florida insureds. Mr. Dobuler is a an active member of the Defense Research Institute, the Broward County Bar Association; the American Inns of Court; serves as a board member for PACE Miami, a non-profit alternative school for at-risk girls; and is an advisory board member of FAIR (Florida Association for Insurance Reform), a non-partisan organization designed to improve Florida's insurance market for consumers. Mr. Dobuler is admitted to the Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts, as well as the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit, and has successfully tried cases involving insurance coverage matters in both state and federal court.
